Platforms
The project is a native app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. The Xcode project targets iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and macOS 26. Those are the systems it is being built for. Availability on the App Store is still to come.
If recording will not start
- The app needs permission to use the microphone. If that was refused, turn it on in Settings under Privacy & Security, then Microphone.
- Transcription needs speech recognition on the device. The system asks for that separately. It can be unavailable for the device’s language. The app then keeps the audio and tries to transcribe the file after you stop, when it can.
- On iPhone and iPad, a recording can continue with the screen locked. Only one session records at a time.
- If the app quits while recording, the next launch tries to recover audio already written to disk, or the transcript that was saved as it grew.
Notes and imports
Markdown import reads files you pick, including a folder of notes. It copies them into the codex. It does not stay connected to Obsidian or to any other app. Wiki links use the entry’s name, which for an imported note is the file name.
What this page cannot do yet
There is no status page, no ticket system, and no in-app purchase help, because none of that exists in the product yet. Email is the whole of support until this draft is replaced.
